The Society of Research Administrators International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1967 and headquartered in Falls Church, Va. The society has approximately 4,000 members who work in research administration at hospitals, universities, nonprofits and at the federal government. Most of the membership is U.S. based research administrators; however, approximately 5 percent of the members are from abroad.
