Event Overview:
At the meeting, the Pathology Department Chairs (APC), the Program Directors (PRODS), the Undergraduate Medical Educators (UMEDS), the Department Administrators (PDAS), and the Program Coordinators (GMEAS) will meet concurrently and in overlapping sessions of mutual interest.
Exhibitor Information:
Attendance at APC’s meeting has doubled over the past 7 years, due largely to compelling programming. APC is now a "must attend" meeting to stay current and network with colleagues in academic Pathology. By partnering or exhibiting at APC’s Annual Meeting, your organization will reach over 400 top decision makers in the field. Don’t miss this once-yearly opportunity to make contact with Pathology’s leaders in an environment focused on the exchange of vital information and new ideas concerning academic practice management, research, and medical education in Pathology.
About APC:
The Association of Pathology Chairs (APC) is a non-profit society, which serves as the voice of academic departments of Pathology in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. APC exists to provide leadership and advocacy for the dynamic discipline of Pathology and to enable academic departments to meet the demands of their three missions - medical education, research and practice. The APC provides education, training, information resources and networking opportunities for chairs, residency program directors (through PRODS), medical student educators (through UMEDS), department administrators (through PDAS), and program coordinators (through GMEAS). Drs. Fred Gorstein, Mary Lipscomb Lyons, and Frances Pitlick recently compiled a history of APC from 1965 to 2013.
