The annual RESNA conference, June 10-14 in Denver, Colorado, is a unique, multi-disciplinary gathering of assistive technology professionals from around the world. No other assistive technology conference connects professionals from across so many different AT and professional specialties. Whether you specialize in seating and mobility, communication, computer access, universal design, or new technologies - RESNA is the place where connections are made and conversations happen.
Taking a cue from the theme “New Frontiers in Assistive Technology,” presentations and workshops on new technologies such as 3-D printing, microcontrollers, and wearables will be a main feature of this year’s conference. Other workshop sessions, over 40 in all, will cover almost every aspect of assistive technology, including seating and mobility, universal design, AT in K-12 school settings, home modifications, job accommodations, communication technologies, computer access, cognitive technologies, and more. Free CEUs are included with registration, and members receive a discount.
But that's not all - during the pre-conference session, June 10 - 11, choose from a variety of full-day and half-day instructional courses. Fabricate your own assistive technology devices, get hands-on with custom contoured seating, build your own microcontroller, learn the ins and outs of switch assessment, and much more. We are also offering our popular two-day course, "Fundamentals in Assistive Technology," as a pre-conference session.
RESNA 2015 is the place to be to establish relationships, introduce new products, generate referrals, give demonstrations, expand sales, increase brand recognition and receive quality input from clinicians and engineers.
Conference attendees are key decision makers influencing purchasing decisions in their clinics, schools, agencies, AT centers, universities, private practices and other settings. They form an active international network that quickly spreads the word about products, services and new technologies. RESNA is where conversations happen and connections are made.
