Event Overview:

Held January 14-16, 2015 in Las Vegas, the Sports Licensing and Tailgate Show is the premier event for brand owners, licensors, licensees and retailers interested in sports licensed products.

Attendees will have the chance to see more than 300 exhibiting companies, representing every possible product category. All of the professional leagues and collegiate teams will be represented. Licensors returning will be CLC, CLPA/Licensing Resource Group, National Hockey League and NBA Properties Inc. among others.

The show attracts buyers from all types of retailers: specialty shops, fan shops, department stores, sporting goods stores, online retailers, collectibles and gift stores. According to The Licensing Letter, the global sports & collegiate licensing market hit $22.2 billion in 2013. Teams like Manchester United have a huge following abroad and have massive merchandise programs. The Sports Licensing and Tailgate Show is making a special effort to invite these brands and other sports leagues to Las Vegas in 2015 to expand their United States distribution opportunities. The Sports Licensing and Tailgate Show presents these companies with an entry into the U.S. market that they otherwise might not have had by giving them access to key retailers and licensees under one roof. Partnering with The Sports Merchandise & Marketing Exhibition (SMMEX) will allow the show to cross-promote the International Pavilion to the established SMMEX audience.
