Share. Collaborate. Learn.
The AEA, in conjunction with 58 associations in related disciplines known as the Allied Social Sciences Associations (ASSA), holds a three-day meeting each January to present papers on general economics topics.
Over 13,300 of the best minds in economics are assembled to network and celebrate new achievements in economic research:
ASSA is the premier event to expose your work with colleagues and hear about the latest research emerging in the field. Economists from around the world take advantage of this unique opportunity to share, collaborate, and learn…all in one place.
Stay Abreast of the Latest Developments in Teaching and Research
The AEA's Continuing Education Program aims to help mid-career economists and others maintain the value of their human capital. It is tailored primarily to faculty at liberal arts colleges and teaching-oriented state universities that may have fewer research opportunities than colleagues at universities with PhD programs. The lecturers are leading scholars who also are excellent expositors. The focus is on content to help improve teaching and research.
Reach your target audience
The AEA offers exhibit space at the world’s largest annual gathering of economists, plus advertising in the meeting program.
Held every January, exhibitors have access to over 13,000 economists in all fields of specialization and related disciplines who regularly attend the event.
The ASSA meetings will provide your company an excellent opportunity to display and explain your product line to a large and prime market segment. Exhibitors have had outstanding success by exhibiting at past ASSA meetings.
Once composed primarily of college and university professors in economics, the American Economic Association (AEA) now attracts 20,000+ members from academe, business, government, and consulting groups within diverse disciplines from multi-cultural backgrounds. All are professionals or graduate-level students dedicated to economics research and teaching.
