AANP's 30th Anniversary Conference
Imagine...Think...Don't Miss - Naturopathic Medicine: Fresh, Sustainable and Cage-Free
The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians will host the largest gathering of licensed naturopathic physicians at the Oakland Marriott August 5-8, 2015, in Oakland, CA.
Don’t miss…this new, progressive, creative naturopathic CE highlight of the year and the opportunity to connect with friends and colleagues in the spirit of networking, dancing and good fun.
The 2015 conference will feature:
Day-long boot camps
NED Talks (Naturopathic Education Doctoring Talks, think TED talks)
Expert panels on timely and challenging topics (e.g. the supplement medical use of cannabidiol, weight loss, Lyme disease, and anxiety syndromes)
The PITH (Personal Insightful Tales of Healing, a relative of the NPR’s The MOTH: True Stories Told Live)
The purpose of the exhibition portion of the AANP Annual Conference is to complement the continuing education sessions and to inform and educate attendees on the latest developments in natural healthcare related products, services, and technologies. Attendees include Naturopathic Doctors and Students, Licensed Acupuncturists, and Doctors of Osteopathy. 600-700 healthcare professionals are expected to attend.
Exhibit Hall - The exhibit hall will hold 106 booths. To create a more welcoming environment, meals will be served in the Exhibit Hall with banquet rounds and bistro tables throughout to allow for a comfortable dining experience. All meals will be served in the exhibit hall, except lunch on Friday, August 7. On this day, attendees (& exhibitors!) will experience a true Oakland treat with lunch provided by local food trucks. An exhibit hall happy hour will take place on the evening of Friday August 7.
Founded in 1985, the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) is the national professional society representing licensed naturopathic physicians. AANP aims to increase awareness of and expand access to naturopathic physicians, help its members build successful medical practices, and expand the body of naturopathic medicine research.
AANP’s physician members are graduates of naturopathic medical schools accredited by the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education. CNME is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as the national accrediting agency for programs leading to the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (N.D. or N.M.D.) or Doctor of Naturopathy (N.D.) degree.
AANP’s members also include naturopathic medicine students and other health care professionals and corporate members who collectively strive to advance the profession of naturopathic medicine nationwide. AANP has 43 official State Affiliates across the country.
