Event Overview:

Twice a year, ABMA-member industry leaders from across the country come together for ABMA's bi-annual membership meetings. These four day events feature engaging and renowned speakers who address hot topics from a variety of perspectives. Prestigious economists, industry analysts, government authorities and professors from top-ranked research universities are among the recent participants. Following the meetings, ABMA members can access speaker's presentations and resources under the appropriate heading on this page. ABMA's bi-annual meetings offer a relaxed and family-friendly forum to develop business relationships and forge personal bonds. Interacting face-to-face and connecting with colleagues -- both personally and professionally -- builds the types of lasting and rewarding ties that make membership in ABMA a vital component of your business plan.

About ABMA:

The American Boiler Manufacturers Association (ABMA) is the national, nonprofit trade association of commercial, institutional, industrial and electricity-generating boiler system manufacturing companies (> 400,000 Btuh heat input), dedicated to the advancement and growth of the boiler and combustion equipment industry.

Keynote Speakers

Alan Beaulieu

ABMA has long standing partnership with ITR for our quarterly economic data program and we are thrilled Alan will once again be presenting his annual state of the economy to the ABMA membership in January.

One of the country’s most informed economists, Dr. Alan Beaulieu is a principal of the ITR Economics where he serves as President. Alan consults with companies throughout the US, Europe, and Asia on how to forecast, plan, and increase their profits based on business cycle trend analysis. Alan is also the Senior Economic Advisor to NAW, Contributing Editor for Industry Week, and the Chief Economist for HARDI.

Brian Seely

Ethical Hacker

Cyber Security Expert

Bryan Seely is a world famous cyber security expert, ethical hacker, author and former U.S. Marine. Seely is known for intercepting calls to the United States Secret Service and FBI by hacking Google Maps in early 2014, but rather than spending time in prison he was called a hero and moved on to bigger and better things. A few months later, he found an exploit in LinkedIn.com and helped the company resolve it.

In August of 2014, Seely and another security expert de-anonymized the highly valued mobile app, Secret. He was on the front page of Wired.com, CNNMoney, CNET, Forbes and the Washington Post — all in the same day. The high profile hacking of Secret landed Seely a consulting gig with Secret less than a week later, and Mark Cuban personally contacted the duo to provide mobile application security/ethical hacking services for his newest tech investment, Cyberdust.

Bryan Seely's new book is Cyber Fraud: The Web of Lies, in which Seely details his unbelievable story of how he intercepted calls to the Secret Service and FBI without permission, yet did not spend one minute in jail.
