Establish a framework for an outcomes-based assessment plan for your career services, counseling services, and academic advising programs.
If you provide service to students in a one-on-one counseling format, you know how difficult it can be to accurately measure the impact of those interactions. This reality, along with increased pressure to demonstrate results and more stringent accreditation standards, are challenging career services, counseling services, and academic advising offices to measure the impact of their work in more meaningful ways.
Join us in Memphis to learn how you can better evaluate the work of these three divisions by creating an outcomes-based assessment approach. Structured as a “learn and work” event and guided by an extensive workbook, you will leave this conference armed with an action plan that will help you integrate a framework for assessment for these three areas that will help you improve student learning and make more informed budgetary decisions.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This conference is appropriate for anyone charged with assessing the impact of the student affairs division -- either as a whole or for career services, counseling services, and/or academic advising more specifically. Throughout the event you will have an opportunity to work with team members from your institution or with conference attendees from similar institutions, to collaboratively solve common problems. To encourage team participation, if you register two people from your institution a third can attend for half price.
