Join Over 5,000 DOs, Healthcare Professionals and Medical Students at the American Osteopathic Association’s OMED, the Largest Event Dedicated to the Osteopathic Profession.
The American Osteopathic Association (AOA) is the Professional DO Family representing close to 80,000 osteopathic DOs in the US. The AOA is the primary certifying/accrediting body for all DOs and the accrediting agency for all osteopathic medical colleges and health care facilities.
Thousands of DOs, osteopathic medical students and members of the AOA family will take part in OMED. Different osteopathic practice groups, as well as osteopathic medical schools and affiliate groups will participate in continuing medical education activities, workshops, networking events, and visit the exhibit hall.
Representing more than 78,000 osteopathic physicians (DOs) around the world, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) serves as the professional family for all DOs and osteopathic medical students. In addition to serving as the primary certifying body for DOs, the AOA is the accrediting agency for all osteopathic medical schools and has federal authority to accredit hospitals and other health care facilities.
