Vermont's oldest fair will feature livestock shows and judging, an animal pulling arena, World of Wonders' Illusions & Escape Artist shows, Josh Landry the Chainsaw Carver, a poultry barn, exhibits, contests and raffles, and the Dreamland Amusements midway with rides for all ages.
Special events include ATV/UTV racing (6 p.m. Aug. 24); Motocross Show (7 p.m. Aug. 25); farm tractor pulls (9 a.m. Aug. 26); 4WD truck pulls (6:30 p.m. Aug. 26); lawn tractor pulls (9 a.m. Aug. 27); tractor rodeo (2 p.m. Aug. 27); Cassadee Pope concert (8 p.m. Aug. 27); pig scramble (noon Aug. 28); demolition derby qualifying (1 p.m. Aug. 28); and demo derby finals (6 p.m. Aug. 28).
The fair is open from 4 to 11 p.m. Aug. 24, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Aug. 25, and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Aug. 26-28. Rides open at 5 p.m. Aug. 24-26 and 4 p.m. Aug. 27-28.
