The INS Annual Convention and Industrial Exhibition is the largest convention dedicated to the specialty practice of infusion therapy in the United States each year. It is a six-day event, typically held in the month of May, comprising two meetings: the Spring National Academy on Saturday and Sunday, which features advanced-level education, and the Annual Meeting from Monday through Thursday. The schedule consists of a keynote/opening session, concurrent general sessions, focus tracks, poster sessions, and evening social events. The Industrial Exhibition is open for three days (Monday-Wednesday), with four hours of dedicated exhibit hours each day.
