380 water works professionals attended NEWWA's 2014 Annual Conference for educational and networking opportunities. The 2015 program will include technical session tracks over 2 days on topics including water treatment, management, sustainability, water resources, water quality, distribution, and groundwater. TCH credit will be available to all attendees.
Plenty of networking opportunities are also available--from multiple receptions, to roundtable discussions, to the membership recognition celebration. The annual Water For People silent auction is also returning, as well as the ever-popular "Aging Infrastructure" contest and "New England's Best" Drinking Water Taste Test. A variety of guest and social programs are also on tap for the week, including Wednesday's golf tournament.
Established in 1882, the New England Water Works Association (NEWWA) is a not-for-profit member organization incorporated in the commonwealth of Massachusetts. The association is the leading authority on education, training opportunities, and public outreach to protect and improve drinking water and water utility operations. NEWWA continues to be an instrument of change to advance the knowledge, science, government awareness, public trust, and environmental stewardship of the water works profession.
