The dock layout for the 40th annual event has been completely reworked to allow for demos on more than 40 boats, giving visitors opportunities to test drive various models before buying.
Musician and island regular Steve Brownell will provide entertainment each day, including songs from his recent Nashville album "No Matter What."
Close-quarters Boat Handling Demos
Learn how to maneuver in tight spaces with ODNR Division of Watercraft officers.
Individual instruction will be given to each participant before pushing off from the dock.
Retired Military Craft
The U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps' 76-foot LCM-8 military landing craft will be open for boarding.
The boat is regularly stationed in Sandusky and maintained by the Firelands Military Vehicle Group.

On land, the big tent has been moved to the front entrance so visitors will be funneled to your booth upon both arrival and departure and the bulk spaces are now flanked on all four sides by elements which will draw people through the exhibits. Whether they are headed toward the food court, dock entrances, beer stand or Boats Under $15,000 Pavilion, people will pass through your display.
Since the event was first held 40 years ago, it has grown into one of the largest in-water shows on the Great Lakes. There are spaces tailored for all needs, including in-water docks for boats, bulk lots on land, and tented accessory booths.
The Lake Erie Marine Trades Association was formed in 1957 by a handful of boat dealers that sought to organize a large indoor boat show for the Cleveland market. It now includes approximately 100 members that are provided with legislative advocacy, educational support, and efforts to improve boating in Ohio.
