Event Overview:
Electric cooperative leaders across the country are facing wide-ranging issues in the areas of culture, operations, technology, member engagement and governance. Issues such as changing market forces, evolving consumer expectations and generational turnover in the co-op workforce, among many others. All of these challenges can be viewed as opportunities for our members to leverage the inherent value of the cooperative business model as an organization dedicated to meeting consumer needs and aspirations. The flexibility, drive and personal connections within the cooperative business model offer us a unique advantage in the energy industry - the opportunity to lead.
Join us Feb. 25-28 in Nashville for the 2018 Annual Meeting & Expo where we will address these and many other issues, while providing you with:

During the 2018 closing general session, Don will draw on lessons learned from his latest book Teammate. An inspiring memoir from David Ross, the veteran catcher dubbed “Grandpa Rossy,” who became the heart and soul of the Chicago Cubs 2016 World Series championship team.….. every winning team has an MVP… and every MVP has great teammates. The great teammates become the pulse of high performing organizations, accepting and committing to whatever role is needed to spark winning results. Through remarkable insight from the greatest teammates of our time, Don teaches how you can become a better teammate no matter where you sit in the organization and how you and your team can develop a culture that recognizes and celebrates those who often get little attention. He offers action items to the audience, reminding everyone in attendance that they can be invaluable even if they’re not the most valuable on the team.
