Event Overview:

Securetech 2015 - Canada’s leading security showcase and conference - brings to you the latest in goods, services, technologies, tactics, tools and trends across the security spectrum or allows you to deep-dive into more than 30 specializations.

Securetech 2015 will feature over 180 Canadian and international exhibitors from more than 30 sub-markets on a 50,000 square feet trade show floor. Attendance of more than 2,500 delegates is expected.

When 93 percent of 2014 delegates had influence on final decisions and purchasing of security products and 17 percent of registrants were executives and CEOs, it pays to attend. Whether you are an end-user, procurement director, or manager in law enforcement, paramedic care, firefighting, point of entry, search and rescue, or military there are insights for you on the Innovation Stage, demonstrations on the show floor, and networking to be done in B2B/G sessions and at the reception or meal events.

To respond to this increasing demand, Securetech 2015 is moving to the larger EY Center to provide greater opportunities to exhibit a larger number of security specialty areas, including introducing first responder armored vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, ground and underwater systems, search and rescue equipment, innovative solutions for emergency response teams, and new personal protective equipment.

With nearly half of 2014 delegates having said they were investing in research and development, Securetech 2015 is the go-to platform to exhibit and understand the latest in new technologies and innovations.  The Innovation Stage provides exhibitors with the opportunity to present their innovative solution, be it wearable technologies or exoskeleton for emergency responders.  Scientists and experts from DRDC, CSSP and NRC are there to display their commercialisation-ready innovations - from nanotechnology or smart materials for PPE, to additive manufacturing.

The Securetech 2015 conference program will focus on cyber security protection and resilience, counter-terrorism, emergency management, personal protective equipment.  This program has been designed to attract decision-makers and influencers from government and security agencies, international delegations, top private sector leaders who need security solutions, science and technology experts, and leading policy and research academics.
