Solar Power Southeast has proven to be the premier solar event in the region. The event has grown each year, starting with the inaugural event in 2015 where over 200 companies in attended. In 2016, over 300 companies attended the event. 2017 brought a career fair, over 600 attendees and 40+ exhibitors in the sold-out exhibit hall. The growth is in part due to the exponential solar growth that’s happening in the southeastern United States, as well as the passion the of the region.
The focus is to bring together those that are doing business in the region, or would like to conduct more business in the region to discuss strategies, market trends in the southeast, policy updates that impact businesses, and numerous networking opportunities to make more connections.
Founded in 1992, SEPA has over 20 years of experience working with electric utilities and the solar industry.
From research reports and national events to one-on-one counseling and peer matching services, SEPA is the go-to resource for unbiased solar intelligence and collaborative dialogue between utilities and the solar industry.
SEPA hosts the Utility Solar Conference, an annual event that draws utility professionals from around the country to share their experiences and learn from their peers. Additionally, SEPA is a co-host of the PV America and Solar Power International conferences.
SEPA’s membership is comprised of over 900 electric utilities, solar companies and other companies with an interest in solar electricity.
Established in 1974, the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) is the national trade association of the U.S. solar energy industry. Through advocacy and education, SEIA is building a strong solar industry to power America.
As the voice of the industry, SEIA works with its member companies to make solar a mainstream and significant energy source by expanding markets, removing market barriers, strengthening the industry and educating the public on the benefits of solar energy.
SEIA is a 501(c)6 non-profit trade association. Our sister organization, The Solar Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization, oversees policy-driven research and develops education & outreach programs to promote the further development of solar energy in the U.S.
