Our goal is to bring clinicians new information, new products and the latest in wound care in a collaborative and strong networking environment. The WOW exhibitors are among our valued resources and we support and appreciate their efforts.
For a clinician to deliver the best quality wound care they must be familiar with new technologies and devices that heal wounds faster. This is why the education and hands-on training our exhibitors bring to the conference is vital part of our attendees educational experience.
Wound Care Education Institute® (WCEI) was created by two nurses to fill an unmet need for wound care education. Nancy Morgan and Donna Sardina, both RNs with years of practice, identified many improperly treated wounds and noted a lack of qualified clinicians available to meet these challenges. They also noticed a lack of available and accessible wound care education programs. With their shared passion for healing, Nancy and Donna started a hands-on wound care consulting company. To expand the number of clinicians they could help, they began providing structured wound care education classes. That’s how the Wound Care Education Institute - WCEI - was born.
