The GPA Midstream Convention is where midstream meets. For more than nine decades, GPA Midstream has led the industry in research, technology, setting and adopting standards for natural gas and natural gas liquids, and more recently, working with legislators and regulators to represent the industry at state and federal levels.
Each year, the GPA Midstream Convention brings together about 2,000 professionals involved in natural gas gathering, compression, treating, processing, storage and marketing, and natural gas liquids fractionation, transportation, storage and marketing, all with the common interest of meeting about – and making a difference in – midstream matters.
The GPA Midstream Association is a non-profit trade organization that has served the needs of its member companies and personnel in the development and maintenance of industry standards, the generation and dissemination of technical knowledge, monitoring and action on related legislative and regulatory issues, and providing a forum for the interchange of technology and developments in the midstream industry since 1921.
GPA Midstream members are operating and producing companies engaged in the processing of natural gas into merchantable pipeline gas, volume movement, or further processing of liquid products from natural gas – commonly referred to as the midstream sector of the energy industry. As the primary advocates for the midstream industry, the association enhances the viability of natural gas, natural gas liquids and crude oil through research, technical, environmental, safety and advocacy activities.
