Event Overview:

In British Columbia, the tradition of gathering to share information on dentistry began in 1936 when the first BC Study Club was established. As time passed, the need for an annual meeting that all BC dentists could attend became evident. An annual dental convention was created and in the subsequent years experienced continued growth and with that the need to expand from smaller hotel settings into the world class Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre (now the Vancouver Convention Centre). In 1998 that meeting became known as the Pacific Dental Conference and welcomed dentists and their teams not only from BC, but from other provinces and our neighbors in the US. The tradition of offering exceptional continuing education programs, the latest in cutting edge techniques, and emerging technology and services continues today.

The Pacific Dental Conference is organized by dental professionals for dental professionals. The PDC Organizing Group (made up of nine Dentists, one Hygienist and a Certified Dental Assistant) volunteer their time to bring you one of the best dental conferences in North America.

We look forward to once again offering our attendees a varied and contemporary selection of continuing education programs along with the ever expanding Exhibit Hall with over 300 exhibiting companies.

The Pacific Dental Conference is pleased to bring to Vancouver a top notch selection of presenters who are prominent leaders in the dental industry. As an attendee, you will have the opportunity to learn from the best while earning CE credits.

For the majority of attendees, CE Credit is given for general attendance (maximum of 5 hours) and hour-for-hour credit for individually attended courses. The PDC programming offers you the opportunity to acquire up to 20 CE credits

Over 300 knowledgeable exhibitors will be on-hand on our Exhibit Hall floor to meet with you one on one. Test out their latest products and take advantage of the show specials that many of them offer at the PDC.

Network and collaborate with over 12,000 dental professionals that attend the PDC each year. Share ideas outside of the session rooms, attend your class reunion or one of the PDC social events - learning doesn’t only happen in the meeting room!
