About The SOA
With roots dating back to 1889, the Society of Actuaries (SOA) is the world’s largest actuarial professional organization with more than 30,000 actuaries as members.
Through education and research, the SOA advances actuaries as leaders in measuring and managing risk to improve financial outcomes for individuals, organizations, and the public.
Actuaries are highly sought-after professionals who develop and communicate solutions for complex financial issues.
Meeting Sponsorship, Advertising & Partnerships
The Society of Actuaries (SOA) is the largest global association for actuaries, serving more than 30,000 members and the global public. If you'd like to engage with actuarial experts and put your company at the forefront of the profession, we have many ways for you to get noticed. The SOA introduced the 2017-2021 Strategic Plan at the 2016 SOA Annual Meeting & Exhibit in Las Vegas. The strategic plan focuses the SOA's initiatives and investment of resources to meet our stakeholders' needs. The plan guides the organization from 2017 through 2021.
The SOA organizes more than 40 in-person events each year, including four major meetings that attract hundreds of senior-level attendees at each event:
Life & Annuity Symposium
Valuation Actuary Symposium
