The meeting is held every two years at the Asilomar Conference Grounds, Pacific Grove, California. The conference will open on Tuesday evening, March 17 with an Opening Mixer from 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm and end on Sunday, March 22. The Perkins/Metzenberg Lecture will be on Saturday, March 21 at 5:45 pm, followed by dinner and the closing party.

The biennial Fungal Genetics Conference is the premier meeting for the international community of fungal geneticists.  The conference features cutting-edge research spanning a diverse array of topics, including comparative and functional genomics, gene regulation, cell biology, biochemistry and metabolism, population and evolutionary genetics, host-pathogen interactions, genetics education, and more.  In addition, network with the premiere fungal geneticists and forge new collaborations.

Exhibitor Information:

Attendees gather to learn about and present the latest research in fungal genetics and develop academic and industry relationships. The meeting consists of plenary and concurrent sessions, 700 posters and workshops that highlight new developments and techniques.
