Birth defects and reproductive and developmentally-mediated disorders constitute a major public health concern in the world today. Human development can be affected not only by drugs and chemicals but also by diet, genetics, maternal health, and socioeconomic factors.
The Teratology Society strives to understand and protect against potential hazards to developing embryos, fetuses, children, and adults by bringing together scientific knowledge from diverse fields.
The 2019 Program Committee of the Teratology Society, partnering with the Developmental Neurotoxicology Society (DNTS) and the Organization of Teratology Information Specialists (OTIS) has arranged for an outstanding and expansive scientific program.
The program for the Teratology Society Annual Meeting includes education courses, workshops, cutting-edge scientific symposia, special lectures, and a student and postdoctoral workshop. There are also platform sessions and two poster sessions providing opportunities for open research communications and updates on the latest cutting-edge research. The sessions address newer concepts in the field and are likely to generate lively interaction.
Invitation to Exhibitors
The Teratology Society invites you to participate as an exhibitor at the 59th Annual Meeting of the Teratology Society, June 22–26, 2019, at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, in San Diego, California.
The Annual Meeting brings together 400+ scientists, administrators, and managers from industry, academia, government and regulatory agencies to discuss the most up-to-date developments in congenital (birth) defects including their nature, cause, mechanisms, and prevention. Attendees represent the disciplines of pediatrics, anatomy, epidemiology, pharmacology and industrial toxicology, developmental biology, obstetrics, pathology, and genetics.
Teratology Society members make a difference every day, whether it is training and mentoring students, providing mechanistic explanations of developmental toxicity, assessing safety, administering therapies for parents and baby or providing solid advice. As a Society, we continually demonstrate our commitment to excellence.
The Exhibit Hall will feature Table Top Exhibits. The cost for a Table Top Exhibit is $850.00. This fee includes one skirted table, two chairs, and a wastebasket. The Exhibit Hall will host the Welcome Reception and a poster session on Sunday, as well as a poster session on Monday night.
