For Users, By Users.
The Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) is an all-encompassing technology users group dedicated to the advancement of additive manufacturing technology.
The users group is dedicated and open to the owners and operators of commercially available additive manufacturing and 3D printing technology. In addition to education and training sessions, attendees will explore the latest products and solutions offered to the industry at the exclusive 2-night AMUGexpo.
AMUG provides in-depth education and training sessions by AM industry experts and OEM representatives. Individuals from all over the world attend the annual AMUG Conference to exchange ideas. Lead new tips and tricks, and ask questions of other users.
The AMUG network provides members access to users with 25+ years of experience in the industry. Attendees network with AM-dedicated OEMs and vendors.
AMUG is a global users group focused on bringing together owners and operators of commercially available additive manufacturing technology. The AMUG Conference is not open to the general public. To register for the AMUG Conference you/your company must have direct ownership of commercially available additive manufacturing equipment.
AMUG extends an invitation to show our members what you have to offer.
High Signal-to-Noise Ratio
As one past exhibitor stated, “AMUG has the highest signal-to-noise ratio of any event.” What this means is that you will be showing off your products and services to highly qualified attendees. The AMUGexpo is open only to AMUG Conference attendees, individuals that must own/operate industrial-grade AM technology used in professional applications. They represent innovators, practitioners and decision makers, which makes the AMUGexpo a “must be there” event you will not want to pass up.
Interested? Don’t wait to reserve a spot. The AMUGexpo sold out last year, and with the limited number of spots for 2018, we expect to sell out once again.
This year’s conference will be held at the St. Louis Union Station in St. Louis, Missouri, from April 8 – 12, 2018. The AMUGexpo will be open Sunday evening, Monday morning and Monday evening. It offers a unique opportunity for vendors to display their products and services to a focused market segment, additive manufacturing users.
The exhibition on Sunday evening will be in conjunction with the conference welcome reception. Monday evening the exhibition will be in conjunction with the AM Technical Competition. We have also added, based on conference attendees’ wishes, two hours of AMUGexpo on Monday morning.
Food and beverages will be included at each of these events for vendors as well as conference attendees and guests. Exhibitors who are not registered conference attendees may also purchase admission to daily lunches and the Tuesday evening Awards Banquet at an additional charge.
The AMUGexpo package covers all the bases. Exhibitors get a 10-foot by 10-foot space, table, chairs, carpet, power and lead scanner.
The standard exhibitor package allows non-AM equipment (ancillary equipment, e.g. cleaning station, scanning, tumbler, etc.) to be displayed at AMUGexpo. Display of AM equipment is available through sponsorship packages.
The Additive Manufacturing Users Group’s origins date back to the early 1990s when the founding industry users group was called 3D Systems North American Stereolithography Users Group, a users group solely focused on the advancement of stereolithography (SL) use with the owners and operators of 3D Systems’ equipment. Today, AMUG educates and supports users of all additive manufacturing technologies. The primary charter of the group remains the same, but its members are much more diversified, global and focused in advancing additive manufacturing technology for rapid manufacturing and prototyping.
