What Makes Us Different
Our conferences offer a combination of discussions, hands-on workshops, panels, one-on-one meetings, and roundtables to ensure that the right information is delivered in the right format. We take pride in our dialogue-driven panel discussions led by industry leaders.
We believe an important part of our role is that of a “relationship broker.” Opal Group ensures that each conference provides ample opportunity for our delegates to create meaningful relationships with like-minded professionals. We offer unique networking environments that elevate the conference experience for the participants.
Founded by Abe Wellington in 1998, Opal Group started in a small humble office in Mount Kisco, NY. The first few conferences the company produced were a monumental success and quickly propelled Opal Group as a key player in the industry. It wasn't too long before the company outgrew the small office and moved to New York City.
As the company grew, Opal Group added more conferences in the finance industry to its repertoire. Shortly after that growth helped thrust the company to the next level, Opal Group decided to pursue other industries.
Now, Opal Group organizes conferences in various industries including, Finance, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Technology, Facilities Management, Athletics and Human Resources.
Opal Group is happy to announce its 5th annual Impact Investing Forum. Impact investing is an approach that seeks to create positive social and environmental impact alongside a financial return.
Today, we see an increase in companies proving that mission-driven and communication based strategy, can attract value based workforce, investor base, and like-minded consumer. Impact investing strategies are also proving to be able to generate returns in line to their traditional counterparts.
Over the next four decades, it is estimated that over $41+ trillion will transfer from baby boomers to Millennials. As we move to the next generation of investors, we are going to find companies aligning their beliefs, operation, and communication strategies with that of the Millennials.
The Impact Investing Forum will look at many of the asset classes that encompass this space. We invite you to join us and meet top influencers, experienced investors, money managers, and service providers that are leading the charge in this ever growing space.
Themes of defining impact investing, portfolio construction, asset class opportunities, and the role of the investor are just a few of the stimulating topics to be covered at this event.
