Event Overview:

DSE is the world's largest and longest running conference and trade show exclusively dedicated to showcasing innovative digital display and interactive technology solutions for customer and employee communications.

Digital signage and interactive technology networks are revolutionizing communications all across the globe and DSE is the one event where you can see it all and experience it up close and personal.

Professional attendance at DSE is comprised of decision-makers from key industry categories such as retail, restaurant, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, digital out-of-home networks, transportation and systems integration/installation, to name a few.

Over 200 exhibitors feature technology and services including flat panels, media players, software, networking devices, delivery, content and more.

A hallmark of the annual event is a large and diversified digital signage educational program with more than 75 unique seminars, workshops and roundtable discussions. Also offered is a live installation tour in Las Vegas.

Who Attends?

DSE 2017 broke all previous attendance records by welcoming 4,917 verified attendees (verified attendee stats do not include exhibitor personnel). Nearly 2100 of those attendees were End Users, DSE's primary target audience.

Where Are They From?

DSE hosts attendees from around the world. The 2017 show welcomed approximately 1,000 attendees from 62 countries outside of the U.S., representing 23% of the show's verified attendance.

A Growing Success Story

In 2017, 255 exhibiting companies joined DSE. Seventy-four were exhibiting for the first time. The show floor expanded to 86,090 net square feet - a new record for DSE.

Alan Brawn

Principal Brawn Consulting

Alan Brawn is a principal of Brawn Consulting, an audio visual consulting, educational development, and market intelligence company, with national exposure to major manufacturers, distributors, and integrators in the industry. Brawn is an AV industry veteran with experience spanning over three decades. He is a recognized author for leading AV industry magazines and is a contributing member of the International Commission on Display Metrology. He is the past Chairman of the Digital Signage Federation and Legacy recipient. He holds CTS certification, and is a senior faculty member of InfoComm. Brawn was awarded the InfoComm Volunteer of the Year Award in 2011 and received the Fred Dixon Lifetime Achievement in AV Education from InfoComm in 2015.

Bryan Meszaros

Managing Partner OpenEye Global

Bryan Meszaros is the CEO of OpenEye Global, a firm that creates purposeful digital experiences, which he established in 2002. OpenEye quickly emerged as an industry trailblazer at a time when the use of interactive visual media had not yet been accepted as mainstream. Meszaros saw the potential to blend his passion in design and fascination with technology to establish a creative agency that pushed the boundaries of experiential design. 

His vision for OpenEye has been rewarded with a consistent level of success on an international stage, having worked with such high-profile brands as Westfield, Nordstrom, Merlin Entertainment & Santander. 

With over 16 years of experience, Meszaros has been recognized as a global industry leader in experiential design. He maintains an active involvement as both President of the SEGD Board of Directors, and member of the Digital Signage Expo Advisory Board, helping to further educate the design community on digital engagement. He has been recognized by both Design:Retail and Commercial Integrator magazines as one of the most influential young professionals in both the retail design and digital signage industries. 

Todd Hoffman

Senior Program Manager, Omni-channel Staples

Creating exceptional in-store shopping experiences is Todd Hoffman's focus and passion. At Staples, Hoffman is helping a retail giant reinvent the retail shopping experience as a senior member of their in-store omni-channel team. 

Having introduced iPads into the fitting rooms at Bloomingdale’s and the light bulb aisle at Lowe’s Canada, Hoffman gained invaluable experience deploying mobile technologies into brick and mortar stores. He also co-founded an AI company focused on bringing image recognition technology to retail. 

Technology is certainly a key component of everything he does. But it's a keen understanding of the customer journey ... and the principles of decision science ... that sets him apart.
