Event Overview:

The International Bridge Conference® (IBC) is the pre-eminent arena for the bridge industry in North & South America, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa.

Presented by the Engineers’ Society of Western Pennsylvania, the IBC annually attracts over 1,200 bridge owners and engineers, senior policy makers, government officials, bridge designers, construction executives, and suppliers from throughout the United States and abroad.

About ESWP:

The ESWP is chartered to advance the professions of engineering, architecture, and applied sciences through technical activities, public service participation and social organizations. It also supports the needs of industries, communities and government in Western Pennsylvania.

Keynote Speakers

Ronald D. Medlock

P.E., High Steel Structures, Lancaster, PA

Ronnie Medlock is Vice President of Technical Services at High Steel Structures, LLC in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he is responsible for engineering and quality control and also plays a lead role in the implementation of technology in the shop. His present professional affiliations include the American Welding Society, the National Steel Bridge Alliance (NSBA), the AASHTO/NSBA Steel Bridge Collaboration, the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association, and the Transportation Research Board. Prior to joining High Steel in 2006, he worked at the Texas Department of Transportation, where he was Director of Technical Services at the Bridge Division and responsible for bridge railing design, traffic structures design, geotechnical design, historic bridge design, and bridge standards and software. Before working at the Bridge Division, he served as Director of Steel Bridge Fabrication Inspection for the Construction Division. Ronnie is a licensed professional engineer and a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin, with both bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering.
