Fish Canada Workboat Canada is the country’s largest commercial marine trade show. It takes place every two years in the centrally-located Hub City of Moncton and attracts those representing the fishing, aquaculture, processing and workboat industries from throughout Atlantic Canada and Quebec’s Gaspé Peninsula. The last edition of the event, held in January 2016, welcomed over 5,500 visitors and proved to be the strongest show in over a decade in terms of size, sales and overall attendance.
The Maritimes have a long history and proud tradition of living off the water. More than a thousand coastal communities still depend partly or wholly on the fishery (Source:historymuseum.ca).
Fish Canada Workboat Canada will include a wide range of exhibitors, with representation from both Canadian and international companies. Visitors will find a comprehensive assembly of the newest, most innovative products on today’s market, including engines, electronics, equipment for boat builders, as well as commercial and marine fisheries equipment.
With attendees comprising a wide variety of industry professionals, Fish Canada Workboat Canada’s education component is a key feature of this event. A diverse series of seminars will be presented onsite at the show, free of charge to all attendees.
