Learn Serve Lead is the AAMC’s premier learning and networking event that inspires, empowers, and fosters a community of individuals determined to improve health care for all.

Why Attend – 2022

The five-day meeting will feature more than 110 concurrent sessions, four plenary sessions, eight Voices of Medicine and Society featured speakers, and more than 50 networking receptions.

The 110+ CME sessions at the conference cover a wide breath of topics, including science advances and funding, health care workforce, health equity, racial injustice, educational scholarship, leadership, competencies across the continuum of medical education, faculty practice and health system change, as well as thought leader sessions tackling issues and challenges within medicine and extending to society at large.

Conference speakers will discuss a wide range of topics affecting the academic medicine community, leading to meaningful and impactful conversations. These speakers are invested in furthering and strengthening the education of current and future physicians and scientists, advancing biomedical research, and improving patient care through thought-provoking lectures and collaborative dialogues.

Leaders in health equity, racial justice, climate change, gender equity, and more will lead complex discussions and encourage participants to reflect on these issues.

The Exhibit Hall will feature exhibitors from business partners, member institutions, medical school and teaching hospital suppliers, specialized education, and health care and technology consultants.

The Annual Meeting brings together more than 4,800 academic medicine leaders and representatives — including medical school deans, hospital CEOs, faculty, administrators, residents, students, and other medical school and teaching hospital stakeholders.

By exhibiting at the meeting, exhibitors will be able to market their organization and raise brand exposure to the entire medical school and teaching hospital community, as well as give potential clients hands-on access to their products and services.

In addition, exhibitors will get an opportunity to generate leads by connecting with the leaders, influencers, and managers of medical schools and teaching hospital departments with significant purchasing power for a wide variety of products and services.

Organizer

The AAMC (Association of American Medical Colleges) is a nonprofit association dedicated to transforming health through medical education, health care, medical research, and community collaborations. Its members are all 155 accredited U.S. and 17 accredited Canadian medical schools; approximately 400 teaching hospitals and health systems, including Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers; and more than 70 academic societies.

Through these institutions and organizations, the AAMC leads and serves America’s medical schools and teaching hospitals and the millions of individuals employed across academic medicine, including more than 186,000 full-time faculty members, 94,000 medical students, 145,000 resident physicians, and 60,000 graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in the biomedical sciences.
