Overview

Event Overview:

The Michigan Safety Conference SPARKLED like a DIAMOND at the 16th annual Michigan Society of Association Executive Diamond Award Banquet on September 14, 2017.  The Conference received a Diamond Award in the Meetings & Exposition category (Less than $1million), for its excellence at the 2017 Michigan Safety Conference (April 11-12, 2017).

MSAE’s 16th Annual Diamond Awards recognized the best of the best in the association industry. As a star-studded and premier affair, the Diamond Awards celebrates and applauds best practices worthy of emulation for associations in 13 program categories.  The award submissions are judged by experts in the association field, and awards are not given in categories where enough points are not awarded.

Denise McGinn, Executive Director of the Michigan Safety Conference, had this to say “We’ve always known that we’ve had the best volunteers in the industry.  Now we have an award to prove it.  I’m very proud of the noble work that the volunteers do to make sure that people in Michigan’s workplaces are trained to work safe”.

In its’ 88th year, the Michigan Safety Conference is a two-day workplace health and safety conference which is held every April in Michigan.  The conference is a non-profit organization run by volunteers in the workplace health and safety fields in all types of Michigan businesses.   The conference hosts 130+ training programs, many live demonstrations and hands-on simulations.
