The Annual Meeting of AAST and Clinical Congress of Acute Care Surgery will include panel experts, master surgeon lectures, abstract presentations and poster viewing throughout the entire meeting. The program will feature general and concurrent sessions, paper and poster sessions, industry exhibits and networking opportunities.
The Trauma Prevention Coalition Symposium and Summit will be held as a pre-session in conjunction with the AAST Annual Meeting.
The AAST Annual Meeting brings together over 750 surgeons from across the country and internationally and an additional 300-350 medical personnel. The three-day Annual Meeting provides educational and networking opportunities for the surgeons as well as the opportunity for them to interact directly with sales representatives.
By participating, your support assists AAST’s mission: to serve as the premier scholarly organization for surgeons dedicated to the field of trauma and the care of critically ill surgical patients. The AAST is dedicated to discovery, dissemination, implementation, and evaluation of knowledge related to a cute care surgery (trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery) by fostering research, education, and professional development in an environment of fellowship and collegiality.
The exhibit hall at the AAST Annual Meeting is a important part of the meeting. Attendees can learn about your products and/or services. AAST Annual Meeting attendees are strongly encouraged to visit the exhibit hall and participate in the contests held in conjunction with visiting the exhibit hall.

Since its inception the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma was established to further the study and practice of traumatic surgery in its various departments, in the United States and Canada.
Today, the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, is the premier academic trauma surgery organization in the United States and has approximately 1,200 members from 30 countries.
