The Tucson Festival of Books is a community-wide celebration of literature. Offered free-of-charge, the Festival exists to improve literacy rates among children and adults. All proceeds from the Festival support local literacy programs.
The Tucson Festival of Books debuted March 14-15, 2009, on the campus of The University of Arizona. The Festival featured 450 authors and presenters and welcomed 50,000 regional visitors, all made possible with generous support from our sponsors and the energetic goodwill of 800 volunteers.
The Tucson Festival of Books welcomes exhibitors from literary organizations to participate in the Festival. Over 250 exhibitors line the UA Mall annually.
