With roots dating back to 1889, the Society of Actuaries (SOA) is the world’s largest actuarial professional organization with more than 30,000 actuaries as members.

The Society of Actuaries (SOA) is the largest global association for actuaries, serving more than 30,000 members and the global public. The SOA introduced the 2017-2021 Strategic Plan at the 2016 SOA Annual Meeting & Exhibit in Las Vegas. The strategic plan focuses the SOA's initiatives and investment of resources to meet our stakeholders' needs. The plan guides the organization from 2017 through 2021.
The SOA organizes more than 40 in-person events each year, including four major meetings that attract hundreds of senior-level attendees at each event:

Event Sponsorship: If you’re interested in only sponsoring a particular event, you may wish to consider a specific event sponsorship. Potential sponsorship opportunities include session speakers, Wi-Fi, hotel keycards and more.
In addition to our major meetings, we offer the chance to reach actuaries with sponsorship at smaller meetings like the Valuation Actuary Symposium, the Predictive Analytics Symposium and many others. Please check back frequently for the sponsor brochures to be updated for 2019.
The SOA granted a limited number of session sponsorships to qualified organizations. Interested companies applied to sponsor a series of two sessions at the Annual Meeting. The requirements for the series were:
The content must reflect a theme or a unified set of topics
The theme or topics must appeal to members broadly
The series must avoid a narrow focus on a specific discipline and must be outside the scope of sessions sponsored by Professional Interest sections.
The SOA has a history of partnering with actuarial and non-actuarial organizations and individuals in developing and delivering professional development opportunities. While keeping the SOA’s Mission and Vision, Strategic themes, key stakeholders, and Competency Framework in mind, there are varying levels of partnership opportunities.
Exhibit opportunities are available for the 2019 SOA Annual Meeting & Exhibit. The SOA is providing a new way for attendees to engage with exhibitors by offering an app scavenger hunt. Attendees who collect QR scans from each exhibit booth will be entered into a drawing to win a prize.
