The Ambulatory Care Nursing Exam Review is designed to prepare those nurses working in ambulatory care to sit for the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s exam. Jessie Desir
Jessie Desir has earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing degree from Barry University, Miami Shores, FL. She has also obtained a Master of Science in Nursing Education from SUNY-Stony Brook, NY.
Jessie is currently the second-time acting president of the Miami-Dade Chapter Oncology Nursing Society (MDONS). Jessie served as president in 2023 and was reelected to serve as president in the year 2025 (the first time in the chapter's history). In her presidency role, Jessie led the Miami-Dade chapter by serving the oncology nursing community through networking opportunities, encouraging oncology nursing educational programs and supporting volunteer services throughout the nursing community.
Jessie works full-time as a medical science liaison (MSL) supporting medical science data and sharing that knowledge with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals. She maintains a strong clinical and scientific presence within the oncology space.
Jessie’s most recent experience was at the University of Miami, Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center in Miami, FL. There, she served as a university health system lecturer within the professional development department and as a board member in launching the first nursing journal club.
