Empowerment, Overcoming Adversity, How to Push Forward with Purpose, Faith and Power, Domestic Violence Awareness
Author of "Elizabeth's Daughter: There's Power in Adversity", a passionate, compelling and inspiring memoir that shares both the traumatic and positive aspects of the author's childhood, her experience in witnessing her father's domestic violence, his eventual murder of her mother and how she used her power to overcome insurmountable adversity. Through the author's personal story, she hopes to raise awareness about the impact of domestic violence and to empower others to conquer their own difficulties.
Sharon has a Bachelor of Arts in liberal studies and communications and an Associate of Arts in arts and humanities from Pace University Dyson College of Arts and Sciences. She's a mentor, empowerment speaker-workshop facilitator, certified domestic violence response team member and a domestic violence awareness advocate.
