For more than 160 years, the California State Fair has showcased the best of California. The seventeen-day Fair is a robust celebration of California, its industries, agriculture and diversity of its people. The California State Fair is a popular summer destination with plenty of entertainment, fascinating exhibits, popular livestock shows, mouthwatering food and the largest tasting of California award-winning wines.
Encompassing nearly 100,000 square feet, The Pavilion is as big in versatility as it is in size. Eight roll up doors, eighteen foot ceilings and concrete floors make this building ideal for major trade and consumer shows, festivals, dances and sporting events. As the home of past events like the Governor’s Ball, The Pavilion has shown its glamorous side on more than one occasion. It has also shown its versatile side with events such as the Health & Fitness Expo, Sacramento Kennel Club Dog Show, Special Olympics and the International Sportman’s Expo.
Expo Center is made up of eight buildings linked together by a common outdoor brick plaza. With a total of 58,870 square feet, this aesthetically pleasing complex includes a surrounding lagoon, dramatic entry bridge and finished white walls and floors in all the buildings. The clean lines and high ceilings are perfectly suited for car shows, trade and consumer shows, art exhibits, fundraisers, banquets, meetings and conventions. Past events include bridal shows, cultural event and the career fairs.
