Green Key Global Awards Harrah's Resort Atlantic City, Bally's Atlantic City and Caesars Atlantic City with Four and Five Green Ratings

Atlantic City - October 8, 2019 - Caesars Entertainment's three Atlantic City properties received "green keys" from Green Key Global for leadership and commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives.

Harrah's Resort Atlantic City, Bally's Atlantic City and Caesars Atlantic City participated in the Green Key Meetings Program, designed to assess lodging and event facilities that host meetings of any size. Developed in collaboration with Meeting Professionals International, the Green Key Meetings Program awarded each Caesars Entertainment property at least four out of five keys for their sustainable operations at the facility level. Green Key Global is a 20-year Canadian-based leading international certification body that offers standardized programs and resources, designed specifically for the hotel and meetings industries. The organization is Global Sustainable Tourism Council recognized, affirming their commitment to promoting sustainable tourism products and services.

"Our team members, as well as our customers, have embraced a comprehensive corporate sustainability program," said Steve Van Der Molen, Caesars Entertainment Vice President Meeting Operations, Atlantic City Region. "They are excited about supporting and challenging the status quo and it will help us build a better environment and community in which we live and work. For example, we bale our own cardboard at Harrah's Atlantic City Waterfront Conference Center. Customers are always amazed by the volume of cardboard that is required for meetings and conventions."

Bally's Atlantic City received a five-key rating, while the other two properties received four. Overall, the three Atlantic City properties exemplified high standards of environmental and social responsibility in relation to their meetings and convention facilities and practices. This includes documented energy reduction plans, further strengthened by Caesars Entertainment's specific objectives and numeric targets.

Including Harrah's Atlantic City Waterfront Conference Center - the largest hotel-conference center from Baltimore to Boston - Caesars Entertainment offers over 208,000 square feet of flexible meeting space in Atlantic City. Green Key Global highlighted the meeting space for its tactics used by facility operations to reduce waste during meetings, such as: exclusively electronic communications with meeting planners, donating used goods to the community and displaying a preference for reusable versus disposable table settings.

"We have a strong track record of environmental and socio-economic progress that is essential to our operations, as well as to meeting our guests' expectations of us as a responsible business. I'd like to commend Harrah's Resort Atlantic City, Bally's Atlantic City and Caesars Atlantic City for demonstrating a commitment to Responsible Meetings," said Gwen Migita, Caesars Entertainment Global Head of Social Impact, Equity & Sustainability. "Our exemplary work in Atlantic City continues off property, as well. Caesars Entertainment community engagement efforts in New Jersey include working with groups such as the National Park Trust and Cure for a Cause."

Harrah's Atlantic City also recently completed a $56 million guest room and suite renovation in its Coastal Tower, featuring 507 finely-appointed guest-rooms & suites. The room and suite upgrades are part of Caesars Entertainment's total investment of over $250 million into its Atlantic City casino-resorts over the last five years, which includes the $125 million Waterfront Conference Center, the revamped Pool After Dark nightclub, and Gordon Ramsay Steak, the seven-Michelin star chef and television personality's first steakhouse concept in the tri-state area.

In contributing to a high sustainability rating, Green Key Global noted Harrah's Resort Atlantic City, Bally's Atlantic City and Caesars Atlantic City feature guestrooms that have high-efficiency plumbing fixtures. As a whole, Caesars Entertainment reduced its 12-month water usage by over 10% in Atlantic City. Each property also received bonus innovation points for the housekeeping and meetings operations staff's monthly efficiency audits to reduce utility usage and increase water diversion.

"Doing what's right for the world and for the environment is, often times, what's right for your business," said Caesars Entertainment Chief Sales Officer Michael Massari. "We are honored to receive the '4 and 5 Green Key Meetings' rating and we look forward to even more achievements to come."

Gordon Ramsay To Bring Award-Winning Hell's Kitchen Restaurant To Lake Tahoe

LAKE TAHOE, NV (Aug. 29, 2019) – Celebrated multi-Michelin star chef and television personality Gordon Ramsay will bring the third Gordon Ramsay HELL’S KITCHEN restaurant to Lake Tahoe, with an anticipated debut in late 2019.

Gordon Ramsay HELL’S KITCHEN Lake Tahoe will be located in the historic Sage Room at Harveys, which was one of Tahoe’s first fine dining establishments. Sage Room will continue its legacy in 19 Kitchen & Bar location, high atop Harveys with breathtaking views of the lake. Similar to the other HELL’S KITCHEN restaurants, design and menu elements will be pulled directly from the long-running hit FOX reality show.

“It’s been a long dream of mine to bring HELL’S KITCHEN to life and the response to my HELL’S KITCHEN restaurants in Las Vegas and Dubai has been incredible, and I’m thrilled to bring the third to Lake Tahoe,” said Ramsay. “I absolutely fell in love with this area from the breathtaking views of the lake to the amazing skiing nearby, Lake Tahoe has it all. It’s a perfect location for a third HELL’S KITCHEN restaurant.”

Construction on HELL’S KITCHEN restaurant will begin this summer with an expected opening date later this year. The restaurant will feature a nod to the past by leaving Sage Room’s iconic, hand-hewn wooden beams intact. The beams were made from trees that were removed when the road to the property was initially built and have been a prominent design piece since the original log building that housed Harveys Wagon Wheel casino, which first opened in 1944.

“Gordon Ramsay brings with him world-recognition, Michelin-star talent and an incomparable energy—all elements we are thrilled to bring to Lake Tahoe with the addition of Gordon Ramsay HELL’S KITCHEN restaurant,” said Brad Belhouse, Regional President of Caesars Entertainment.

The first HELL’S KITCHEN restaurant opened at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in Jan. of 2018 to unprecedented anticipation and acclaim. The second HELL’S KITCHEN restaurant opened at the global hotspot, Caesars Bluewaters Dubai this past spring. Both restaurants have surpassed expectations and continue to be the most sought-after reservation in both cities.

The high-energy restaurant and bar will take its cue directly from the eponymous ITV Entertainment and FOX primetime television hit seen worldwide by millions of viewers, which is slated to premier seasons 19 and 20 in the near future. The restaurant will shine the spotlight on many of HELL’S KITCHEN cast/chef recipes and dishes featured on the show, including many of Chef Ramsay’s signature dishes like the Pan Seared Scallops, Lobster Risotto, Beef Wellington, Crispy Skin Salmon and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants operates a total of 35 restaurants globally, boasting seven highly coveted Michelin stars. As is the case at Chef Ramsay’s other restaurants, the quality of the food and dining experience is paramount for the HELL’S KITCHEN restaurant.

The relationship between Caesars Entertainment and Ramsay began in 2012 with the opening of Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas and has continued to flourish over the years. After more than eight years of collaboration, the partnership has currently yielded five restaurants on the iconic Las Vegas Strip, three on the East Coast and one at Caesars Palace Bluewaters Dubai, bringing the total number of restaurants within Caesars Entertainment currently to nine worldwide. With the addition of HELL’S KITCHEN Lake Tahoe and the recently announced N. Kansas City Gordon Ramsay Steak, Ramsay and Caesars Entertainment will have collaborated on 11 restaurants.

Reservations for HELL’S KITCHEN restaurant will be available soon. For ongoing updates and more information, please visit harveystahoe.com.

Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen is a partnership between Gordon Ramsay and Caesars Entertainment in conjunction with ITV America. HELL’S KITCHEN airs in the U.S. on FOX and is produced by ITV Entertainment in association with A. Smith & Co. Productions. Arthur Smith, Kent Weed, Kenny Rosen, Bernie Schaeffer and Gordon Ramsay serve as executive producers. HELL’S KITCHEN airs in 41 countries around the globe.

Caesars Entertainment Earns Perfect Score in Corporate Equality Index for Twelfth Consecutive Year

LAS VEGAS (April 2, 2019) - Caesars Entertainment (NASDAQ:CZR), the world's most diversified casino-entertainment provider, announced today that it continues to lead the gaming-entertainment industry, achieving a perfect score of 100 and earning the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality on the 2019 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) for the twelfth year in a row. CEI is a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation.

"Now more than ever, it's important for corporations to defend and value human rights. Caesars Entertainment draws on its historic leadership in diversity, equity and inclusion to continue to serve and empower LGBTQ team members, guests and suppliers," said Jan Jones Blackhurst, Executive Vice President, Public Policy & Corporate Responsibility at Caesars Entertainment. "This recognition by the Human Rights Campaign is a reflection of our collective commitment and pledge to champion the rights of every person."

In August 2018, Caesars announced new domestic partner benefits for both same- and opposite-sex partners. Benefits include medical, dental and vision plan options, short and long-term disability, life insurance and a selection of other voluntary benefits.

Caesars has long been a leader in the defense of human rights; it was the first hospitality and gaming company to establish an LGBTQ diverse employee group more than a decade ago. It was also first in its industry to provide protections to transgender guests and employees, and to train employees on policies relating to transgender employees and guests. Caesars supports LGBTQ-certified businesses through the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce as part of its overall commitment to women-, minority- and veteran-owned businesses. Caesars also joined with HRC and other corporations to re-introduce the Equality Act, legislation that guarantees protection for LGBTQ people under existing civil rights laws.

The 2019 CEI report evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. Caesars' efforts in satisfying all of the CEI's criteria results in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.

Caesars Entertainment Partners with Event Design Collective to Introduce the Event Design Certificate (EDC) program

LAS VEGAS (March 14, 2019) - Caesars Entertainment Corporation (NASDAQ: CZR, "Caesars Entertainment" or "Caesars"), the world's most geographically diversified casino-entertainment company, partners with Event Design Collective GmbH (EDCo), the globally active creators and trainers of the Event Design using the Event Canvas™ methodology based in Switzerland (as well as the Netherlands, Canada, Spain, Germany, Italy, France and the Philippines) to introduce an innovative approach and Event Design Certificate program in designing meetings and events for the future. With the goal to certify 1,000 meetings industry professionals including Caesars Entertainment sales and convention services teams as "CED - Certified Event Designers" by 2022, Caesars Entertainment just concluded a three-day training course in Las Vegas. This is the beginning of a 36 month partnership providing Event Design Collective's immersive training and coaching program. Sponsored summits and industry events are planned for Las Vegas that will take the stakeholder alignment and event design process to the next level. Dates will be announced shortly.

"It is part of our DNA at Caesars Entertainment to listen to our customers, understand their individual needs and specific goals, and to leverage our facilities and team members to help our customers achieve those goals.  Event Design Collective is allowing us to build on our inquisitive nature by giving us a common language to communicate with our customers in, and a game changing framework to help our customers achieve their objectives. Partnering with Ruud Janssen and Roel Frissen, Co-Founders of Event Design Collective, will continue our mission at Caesars Entertainment. We are thrilled to collaborate with Event Design Collective so we can help our customers plan and execute world class meetings and events." said Michael Massari, Chief Sales Officer of Caesars Entertainment.

The #EventCanvas™ is intended to stimulate the creation of a common visual language that can be used by the event owner and the event team. Upon completion of the process, the #EventCanvas™ allows event owners and their teams to design, articulate and prototype their event story using a visual language. There is a need and desire for a common language to discuss, design and prototype events to come up with the best possible event design by event teams and their stakeholders.

The Event Design Certificate (EDC) Program is an immersive three-day design training course followed by six-months of coaching on a real-life event. At the program, participants learn how to apply design thinking with the #EventCanvas, facilitate their team through the process and articulate the way their event creates value strategically or just approach events in a different way. Analyzing stakes, design and prototype with like-minded peers using the #EventCanvas as a visual language for events. Prospective CED - Certified Event Designers participants learn how to master and facilitate the signature Event Design using the #EventCanvas™  methodology by applying the practice of design thinking to events.

"Event owners are faced with the need of change. They are challenged to understand how to implement that change with their events. We have created this three-stage process that we teach teams or work with them directly on applying it in their organization. It allows them to get a grip on how their own events create value and how to measure success through behavior change. Ultimately through applying the Event Design using the Event Canvas™Methodology they become change makers and confident leaders of event design in their own organization."  said Ruud Janssen & Roel Frissen, co-creators of the Event Canvas and co-authors with Dennis Luijer of the bestselling Event Design Handbook.

"The support of Caesars Entertainment to equip their teams and industry professionals at large with the Event Design skillset is an important milestone for the development in the US of the common language of event design we have started in 2013. It will put Caesars Entertainment at the forefront of the market when it comes to systematically designing innovative events using the Event Canvas." according to Ruud Janssen and Roel Frissen, managing partners of the Event Design Collective GmbH. "Experience & Event design is not a singular act when planning a meeting, but a strategy deployed around the entire existence of a customer's event portfolio and how it supports their organization's objectives. A meeting sales organization that has meaningful conversations with their customers builds deeper relationships supporting customer's objectives. With this delivery, meetings will be differentiated, and Caesars Entertainment will be a more valued partner on a long-term basis." according to Lisa Messina, Vice President of Sales at Caesars Entertainment.

There are three levels of the Event Design Certificate Program ranging from basic event skill set and awareness of stakeholder alignment techniques to mastery of the full process as a facilitator. After a successful completion of the program and peer review of the real-life case study, meeting industry professionals and Caesars Entertainment sales, catering and convention services managers will be attaining the "CED," a Certified Event Designer, designation and join the strong alumni community of CED Event Design Thought Leaders across the globe.

"Through our work and research, we identified that the EDC program by the Event Design Collective was the global leader and expert in this area. They have had success in Europe, Canada and Asia and are now focused on the development in the US. The timing is perfect for us to partner with Event Design Collective, especially with the opening of CAESARS FORUM in 2020 in Las Vegas, featuring the two largest pillarless ballrooms in the world. We are looking forward to engaging and certifying our team and customer base, while helping them to spread the knowledge among a wider U.S. audience," said Lisa Messina, Vice President of Sales at Caesars Entertainment. "While we will first work together to certify key customers and our team, we will also sponsor the greater event organizer throughout the industry at industry events."

Caesars Entertainment Announces Plans For First Non-Gaming Hotel In The U.S., Introduces Caesars Republic Brand

LAS VEGAS (January 28, 2019) - Caesars Entertainment Corporation (NASDAQ: CZR), the world's most diversified casino-entertainment company today announced plans to open Caesars Republic Scottsdale, its first non-gaming hotel in the United States, as part of its plan to expand its brands and loyalty network through its licensing strategy.

Caesars Republic Scottsdale will be located adjacent to the region's premier luxury retail destination, Scottsdale Fashion Square, and will be a four-star hotel developed by HCW Development and operated by Aimbridge Hospitality. Caesars Entertainment will license its brand, advise on design elements and integrate the industry's leading loyalty network, Total Rewards.

"Caesars Republic Scottsdale represents the introduction of a new world-class brand and further progress on our strategy to expand our non-gaming business into premier destinations," said Caesars Entertainment President and Chief Executive Officer, Mark Frissora. "This project will be our first non-gaming asset in the United States and demonstrates the global strength of the Caesars brand. We look forward to partnering with HCW Development and Aimbridge Hospitality to create a world-class experience in one of the nation's most desirable communities."

This modern 11 story glass structure with 266 rooms will be developed at the intersection of North Goldwater and East Highland Avenue. This high-profile location will allow the Caesars Republic Scottsdale guests the ability to walk to the state's most elegant mall.

The interior décor will feature rich textures and strong architecture, juxtaposing soft curves and bold accents in a chic and classy lobby, with designs curated throughout the guest rooms. The first-floor bar will be the spot for an after-work cocktail or glass of wine after a day of shopping. The signature restaurant will feature a sophisticated, high-energy environment that will synergize with surrounding trade areas, catering to both locals and hotel guests alike. There will be an abundance of outdoor seating on the patio with fantastic views of Camelback Mountain. In addition, there will be a coffee shop, ideal for a casual business breakfast or as a grab-and-go option for those on the run.

The guest room experience will set the standard for rooms and amenities in Scottsdale. In addition to the mixture of kings, double queens, one and two-bedroom suites, the hotel will also feature a bridal suite, and on the 11th floor, five luxury entertainment suites. On the second floor, there are five breakout rooms which will accommodate up to 40 people each or can be opened for events up to 200. The second-floor executive board room is capable of seating 16 at a permanent table.

Caesars Republic Scottsdale will house a 7,000-square foot column-free ballroom with 34-foot sliding glass doors which open out onto the adjacent lawn, suitable for outdoor events for up to 600 people. The ballroom is divisible into four sections and can accommodate banquets up to 500. The ballroom's LED lighting system will allow event organizers to customize the look and feel of their event with the ability to change the ceiling color.  Additionally, the ballroom will feature a cutting-edge sound, internet and audio-visual system.

The most stunning part of Caesars Republic Scottsdale will be the 7th floor, encompassing a rooftop pool and bar - the only rooftop pool in Scottsdale - featuring breathtaking views of Camelback Mountain.  The pool will host activities such as yoga at 9 and champagne at 11. The rooftop bar will feature specialty drinks by HCW's award-winning mixologist. There will be weekend brunches and lively afternoon energy year-round. This area will also serve as private event space for exclusive groups or company events. Adjacent to the pool will be the hotel's state-of-the-art fitness center.

"We are very excited to work alongside our new partners to introduce the Caesars Republic brand to the world," said Richard Huffman, Chief Executive Officer and President of HCW Development. "Scottsdale is a vibrant community and we are confident that this high-end facility will provide a truly unique and dynamic experience to both locals and guests traveling from afar."

Caesars Republic offers a new kind of lifestyle hotel experience; the first brand from Caesars Entertainment designed exclusively for non-gaming hotels. Caesars Republic is a brand with an edge: it inspires the imagination, pushes creative boundaries and collaborates with trendsetters.

The brand pays homage to the dynamic energy of Las Vegas -celebrating rebellious spirits and beckoning its guests to unleash their alteregos. Just as all republics are social in nature, Caesars Republic incorporates thoughtful details and brand rituals to facilitate connections among its guests.

No two hotels within the brand will be exactly alike - everything from the décor to the culinary offerings are inspired by local traditions and tastemakers. Caesars Republic taps into the unique pulse of each host city, amplifying its energy and culture.

"We are honored to partner with Caesars Entertainment and add a hotel with the iconic Caesars brand to our management portfolio," said Aimbridge Hospitality President and Chief Operating Officer, Robert Burg. "We share Caesars' commitment to operating excellence and look forward to managing Caesars Republic Scottsdale."

Scottsdale is an ideal market for the introduction of the Caesars Republic brand. Scottsdale hosted an estimated 4.5 million overnight visitors and 4.4-million-day trip visitors in 2017. Caesars Republic Scottsdale will be located just north of Scottsdale Fashion Square. Owned and operated by Macerich (MAC), Scottsdale Fashion Square features an elevated luxury wing anchored by Neiman Marcus, plus a new flagship Apple, and more than 200 shopping and dining options including market exclusives Saint Laurent and a recently announced Nobu.

"Our market-dominant Scottsdale Fashion Square is the natural home for the innovative new Caesars Republic hotel concept," said Ed Coppola, President, Macerich. "The addition of this exciting new hotel is part of the next phase of development for our exceptional mixed-use property, which also will introduce Class A office space and upscale residences to bring even more value to this one-of-a-kind destination."

This announcement follows the late 2018 opening of Caesars Entertainment's two beachfront luxury resorts and beach club on Meraas' Bluewaters Island in Dubai. Additionally, Caesars announced plans last year to develop a non-gaming Caesars Palace resort along the coast of Puerto Los Cabos, Mexico.
