Set to become a premiere Nashville hotel, the centrally located 191-room property will bring a new level of upscale and elevated amenities to downtown

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 28, 2017) – HRI Properties, LLC and Hyatt proudly announce the naming of the Holston House hotel expected to open December 2017 in the heart of downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Located within an iconic 88-year-old art deco building at 118 Seventh Avenue North, just one block from the renowned Lower Broadway area, Holston House will provide guests with the ideal location to explore the vibrant streets and many unique destinations of Nashville. When the property debuts in December, it will join The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, a collection of unique, story-worthy stay experiences.

The 191-room hotel will feature six suites, including two signature 12th floor Bungalow Suites, a fitness center, and a series of food and beverage offerings including a lobby lounge and rooftop bar. Holston House will feature 3,000 square-feet of flexible meeting and event space, which includes ample function space on the first level, a boardroom, and a 439 square-foot skyline room with a private terrace, bungalow bar and folding glass doors leading out to the rooftop pool.

Originally designed by Marr & Holman and recently reimagined by esteemed New York based Stonehill & Taylor design firm, the hotel’s interior will be updated to complement the exterior’s art deco details and honor the buildings historic craftsmanship. To create a dynamic space that is both classic and decadent, richly crafted furniture and textures will be layered with traditional forms using warm locally sourced materials to capture the rugged modernism of today’s Nashville.

Encompassing the rhythm of Nashville, Holston House will introduce three culinary and cocktail experiences with concepts by New York-based APICII restaurant group. This includes an independently owned signature restaurant, a spacious lobby bar and lounge along with a dynamic roof top pool bar. Serving three meals a day, the restaurant will focus on locally sourced products. The restaurant will be situated off the main entrance to the hotel.

Grand Hyatt hotel to be part of Lotte Tour’s integrated resort project on Jeju Island, South Korea

CHICAGO (August 29, 2017) - Hyatt Hotels Corporation today announced that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with Lotte Tour Development Co., Ltd. for a Grand Hyatt branded hotel in Jeju City, Jeju Island, South Korea. The new hotel will mark Hyatt’s sixth property in the country, complementing Grand Hyatt Seoul and is expected to be the second largest Grand Hyatt hotel in the world.

Grand Hyatt Jeju will make its home in the center of Jeju City, the capital and largest city of Jeju Province. Located south of the Korean Peninsula and only an hour flight from Seoul, the island has become one of the most popular destinations in Korea outside of Seoul.

In 2016, over 12 million passengers flew between Seoul and Jeju, making the route one of the world’s busiest passenger air routes. The city has experienced a surge in Chinese demand within the past decade, seeing more than 3 million tourists from mainland China last year, and welcoming over 10 million visitors annually from South Korea, Japan and China.

Lotte Tour will be the lead developer of the Dream Tower Integrated Resort project in Jeju, along with Greenland Group, one of China’s largest state-run real estate developers. The project will feature two towers as well as a retail podium.

Grand Hyatt Jeju will have 1,600 rooms, 11 food and beverage outlets, approximately 1,200 square meters of meeting space, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, two spas (Western and Korean) with a total of eight treatment rooms and two kids clubs.

Hyatt Regency Shanghai Global Harbor marks the seventh Hyatt-branded hotel in Shanghai, joining Park Hyatt ShanghaiAndaz Xintiandi, Shanghai; Grand Hyatt Shanghai; Hyatt on the Bund, Shanghai; Hyatt Regency Chongming and Hyatt Regency Shanghai, Wujiaochang.

CHICAGO (August 25, 2017) – Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) today announced that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a franchise agreement with Özkent Girisim Gayrimenkul Yat?r?m ve Ticaret A.S. for a Hyatt Centric hotel in Bodrum, Turkey. Hyatt Centric Yalikavak Bodrum will be managed by Access Tourism and Hotel Investment Consultancy Ltd. Expected to open in mid-2019, Hyatt Centric Yalikavak Bodrum will mark the fifth Hyatt-branded hotel in Turkey, joining Park Hyatt Istanbul – Macka Palas, Grand Hyatt Istanbul, Hyatt Regency Istanbul Ataköy, Hyatt Centric Levent Istanbul, and Hyatt House Gebze, which is slated to open in September 2017.

As the first Hyatt Centric resort in Turkey, Hyatt Centric Yalikavak Bodrum will boast an unbeatable location designed to be a launch pad for sightseeing, tasting and experiencing everything that the Bodrum Peninsula has to offer. Often referred to as the “St. Tropez of Turkey,” the Bodrum Peninsula is one of the most popular and upscale destinations on the Turkish Riviera.
