404 South Jackson Street, Tullahoma, Tennessee 37360
South Jackson Civic Association was formed in 1977 to “Save South Jackson”, a grass-roots effort to halt the destruction of the South Jackson School. Nestled in the core of the building is Tullahoma’s first public school built in 1886. We opened our doors as the South Jackson Civic Center in January 1979 with our first performance.
South Jackson Civic Association has operated for the past forty years as a presenting organization, museum, and community resource serving the Middle Tennessee counties of Coffee, Moore, Franklin, Bedford, and Warren. The Civic Center contains rehearsal facilities, conference and meeting rooms, a 400-seat auditorium, full stage with proscenium arch and a local history museum.
