Overview The Great Lakes Fruit, Vegetable and Farm Market EXPO is one of the largest annual gatherings of fruit and vegetable growers and farm marketers in North America. The Michigan Greenhouse Growers EXPO has been held concurrently with the Great Lakes Fruit, Vegetable and Farm Market EXPO. This expanded the overall program to include education sessions and trade show exhibitors for greenhouse growers. Why Attend – 2022 The EXPO includes exceptional educational programs and a large trade show. It also offers many special events, receptions and other networking opportunities. The EXPO offers an extensive education program on a range of topics pertinent to fruit and vegetable growers and farm marketers. Exhibitors include farm equipment companies, seed companies, nurseries, fertilizer and farm chemical manufacturers and suppliers, packaging equipment and container companies, and greenhouse-specific suppliers. The trade show is huge, with 450 exhibitors featuring a wide array of products and services of interest to specialty crop growers and farm marketers. Why Exhibit – 2022 The EXPO offers one of the largest trade shows for fruit and vegetable growers, greenhouse growers and farm marketers in North America. The trade show also includes an area for exhibitors offering products specifically for Farm Markets. Many state and federal agencies also exhibit, updating attendees on current programs and regulations. Organizer In 1964, a group of vegetable industry leaders concluded that Michigan needed a state-wide vegetable organization. The intent was to bring together individual growers, along with commodity associations, processors, shippers and other trade people interested in promoting the welfare of the state's vegetable industry.
